Eddie`s Steak Shed in Granger

Beautiful updates on the inside but you could feel the staff was not happy working with a few people. Also we had the sirloin steak for 2 and I have made better at home. It's sad because it used to be so good.

We were told the wait was about 20 mins & it ended up being like 40 mins because of this we had to rush our meal. Our waitress, Cindy was AMAZING! She understood that we had to pick our son up & she did her best to decrease the wait time we had for our salads & our meal. A plus customer service to our waitress!!!! I wouldn't recommend the mashed potatoes. I didn't add the gravy to mine, however butter & seasoning didn't help them. They tasted like powered potatoes from the box. We had the Sirlion for 2, which we both ate with steak sauce. We know for next time to call in or check in online for reservations so we might be able to actually take our time & enjoy our meal.

The steak was cooked perfectly, however, I was sadly disappointed at the huge amount of fat on my Ribeye. Also, they couldn't bother to make REAL mashed potatoes. I wouldn't expect instant potatoes at a quality steak house.Reply to the Shed owner's comment: SMH in disbelief at your response.

Great prime rib and French onion soup! Sweet potatoes fries. Everyone in our group ate so well and took desserts to go.

The appetizers and service were amazing, but the prime rib was reheated and rubbery. I think I'll get the burgers if I go back.

Pleasantly surprised! I had not been to The Shed since it was eddies steak shed. The food was amazing. Great prices and great portions. To top it all off the service was AMAZING. I will definitely be a returning customer!

The new version of this resturaunt is more pleasant to eat at then it ever was. It has the feel of a nice BBQ place but serves burgers and sandwiches. The food and service are good and they might have craft beer in the future.

My husband ordered prime rib for $22 and it was so tough and certainly wasn't prime rib bit some kind of other cut. I ordered onion soup and it was so salty I couldn't eat it. The stuffed deep fried mushrooms were the one good thing. Don't think we will be going back for anything other than the mushrooms

I've had almost the entire menu. Everything has been delicious. The service is top notch. Servers are friendly and attentive. New renovations are very nice and have created a nice ambiance.

Loved this place great service and amazing food

Very clean and nice little place. Perfect for a steak dinner and a beer. They have a steak dinner for two special which makes it perfect for a date as well. Meat was pink as requested and the two sides and salad were delicious. I will return to try the desert. I was too full this time.

It was okay.Atmosphere is cozy, a little cool in the dining room.Went for an Sunday afternoon lunch. Quiet. Good service but server had a smoker's cough and smelled of smoke, gross! Food was okay. Sides were not very tasty. Steak okay. Probably won't go again.

Workers were great..not impressed with my sirloin steak ... It was tough for $20..but our waitress was great & cook was awesome too..

As others have mentioned the steak was tough and lacked all flavor. Ordered the sirloin and it was also a very thin cut and super dry. Also ordered the surf and turf, the fillet tasted like a wet tissue, even my caesar salad was terrible and didn't even have parmesan on it. There was no bread no peanuts no nothing as service, not to mention we waited over an hour just for the salads so something would have been nice. Not once were we asked how the steak was cooked or how anything tasted. Price was higher than any of the much better local steak places to choose from which do serve rolls, peanuts, bread etc.. One and done, won't make that mistake again.

I used to waitress, and our server was very rude from the very beginning. I am not sure what her name was. We felt very rushed when ordering, and she was visibly upset with us the entire time. I am sad to leave a review like this, because the food was so good! The service just made it a negative experience. I have never had such a bad experience with a server at a restaurant like this before.

This used to be our favorite place to eat but not no more! For starters they used to bring you cheese and crackers at your table for free and now you have to pay for them when all that's in the basket is Saltines and breadsticks. Then there's the fact that you don't get two sides with your dinner so you don't get a salad inclded anymore if you want a potato or vegetables you only get one item so we had to pay extra to get a salad with our dinner when the steaks alone are already high price compared to other steakhouses. Not to mention the steaks I ordered was a ribeye and I'm not even sure what they brought out to me I'm not a picky eater and I never send stuff back but on this one I just had to! The new potatoes that we used to love we're all shriveled up and dried out! I wish I could post pictures because I definitely took some. The only upside I can say is the waitress was very nice .Needless to say we will not be returning.

Saganaki is a MUST!!! Such flavorful, crispy and melty cheese!!! We both ordered steak; filet and bourbon bacon ribeye. OMG tender, flavorful, melt in your mouth steak! We are definitely going to come back! Great staff and service!!!

It was very nice in there very friendly people. The waitress was very nice and efficient. I will definitely be back. Thank you for the good service and the food was good.

First time back since reopen. House salad was really good, much better than before. Fresh and salad dressing was good, before they gave you packets. Sirloin for 2 was good but not as tender as before. It seemed like a good quality steak just missing something, they may have cooked it with more butter before. Will be back..

We had a super friendly waiter and extremely fast service despite the fact that it wasn't empty in there. The noise level is perfect for a date night. We were able to have a conversation and hear each other while still feeling like we had privacy. The only reason I wouldn't rate it 5 stars is because the ribs I ordered werent amazing. They also weren't horrible I've just definitely had better.

Wow. We can't wait to go back!Cozy but not crowded. The tables were nicely spaced instead of trying to jam as many as possible in a small space. The decor was beautiful and the fire place was a nice touch. The staff was friendly, quick and seasoned professionals. Now... the food! It was so beyond the normal steak place. Please try The Shack before going to a chain restaurant. The salad was fresh and crisp and the made- in- house ranch had a dill hint. The french onion soup was exactly what I was craving with stringy delicious cheese. I got the smaller prime rib but for the truly hungry their is two larger portions. The french fries were hand cut deliciousness. My husband had a burger with everything but the kitchen sink. It was juicy and smelled amazing. As I said above... I can't wait to go back.

I dont wanna tell you how good the food is here....because i don't like to wait in line to get in....lol....no pics because I don't want the other restaurant owners to feel inadequate...eat here when you want STEAK....

Place was empty on a Friday night. Wait staff was nice, appetizers were great, but the prime rib was reheated. I asked for rare and got medium well, like microwaved, hot prime rib. Honestly it's the worst steak I've ever had. I've been told for years that they have the best steaks around, but apparently not their prime rib. If I ever go back I'll have a different cut or a burger.

We looked online and the Tuesday special was $8 hamburgers. I took our whole family there. I was told the manager changed the special last week. I asked if they would honor the online ad. The waitress said "The boss is a jerk" he said No. We walked out! We live 6 blocks from there and they have lost our buisness. The food was only mediocre the last time we were there. We wanted to give them a second chance.

Great prime rib!

The shrimp tasted like something from Denny's which I don't have a problem with Denny's as long as I'm paying the Denny's price but when you pay $20 for shrimp platter you don't expect to get what you would at Denny's for 12 bucks. And then the waitress had a really bad attitude to boot. I won't ever go back it was better when it was Eddie's

If you know anything about Cassopolis, food is not the attraction. My family and I are always in search of "off the beaten path" establishments. Found one right here, The Shed. They did not dissappoint. The beer battered fish fry and the butter herb 16oz ribeyes were delicious. Waitress was kind and attentive. Several brew options. Too bad we only frequent this area on the wknds. I'm already planning my next visit!🍺✌

The only redeaming quality of this place is the service and spicy cheese curds.I ordered a Phillycheese steak and it was just an over done steak sandwich with cheese. My wife's ribs tasted steamed and then covered in sauce (hardly BBQ). My son's mac and cheese was so full of corn starch that it was gritty. My friend asked for a medium steak and it came out well done.How this place is rated as best steaks year after year when Yesterday's is right across the street is beyond me.

First visit was awesome, tonight not so much

We just had dinner there and it was great. The atmosphere was nice with the fireplace going. The steaks were juicy and tender. Enjoyed the meal and the service was very good. We will definitely come back often.

First time back since re-open. Probably won't be going back. Increase in prices decrease in food quality. My sirloin was so tough and not cooked "medium", husband's t-bone was rare and not medium. The house salad was very good. Was happy they weren't serving the crackers and cheese anymore. When I asked if they were serving bread she said it's brought out with the meal now so it isn't wasted. The bread had a distinct smell of sour bread. Very disappointed. Staff was very friendly though.
